Pool Day

Gene and Peggy were nice enough to invite us to the country club for pool time and a nice lunch. It was Delcia's first time swimming. Though a little skeptical at first, she soon took to splashing around.

Bathing Beauty!

Sorry, all we have to talk about is our baby. What can we say, she is the star of the show around here and as all parents know- once you have kids, they kind of take over for awhile. We don't mind though. She is a lot of fun and keeps us busy.
Here us our little star posing.

The Respectable Prof. Keener and.... his son..

As I mentioned J had the camera for our walk. Here is (listing in order): A proud Dad and his son on fathers day, Moments later..., A photographers wife, and a photographers self portrait....[photographer is a loose term in this post... I'm not intentionally trying to degrade the profession.]

Thanks for the great excursion.

Father's Day

Well we made it through our first official fathers day. We joined the Keeners at their cabin in the woods and after a late steak lunch headed off for a walk around the pond. Jay grabbed the camera so there are a lot of..... well, interesting pictures. But as you can tell it was so fun Delcia couldn't stand it and fell asleep. After the fun their we headed to Alpine for an abreviated family dinner with Ness's family. Unfortunately the battery in the camera wasn't fully charged, so we can't share any pictures of that with you. Happy father's day DADs.

Play Time

Happy Father's Day!

Delcia loves to eat her rice cereal and will start trying some baby foods this week, as she will be 6 mo. old on the 27th! She is quite a messy eater and gets so excited that she grabs the spoon to shove it in her mouth and dives for the bowl. She loves play time in the evenings with John, Bridger and Paisley. She is scooting all over the place and will work very hard to get within hair pulling reach of Bridger. You know you have a healthy baby when there is dog hair in her poop!
She loves her daddy and gets very excited to see him. She has a hard time concentrating on eating or sleeping when he is around. Last night I went into her room to nurse her. John was already in there and was about to leave after handing her over to me. She looked at him and cried until he came back into the room and held her hand while I fed her. She is a very spoiled, but happy baby! For all of you that know John, you will not be surprised when I say that he is a great daddy and we love him very much!
