There is no harder job, or more rewarding. We have had so much fun being parents and I am so happy to celebrate my first official Mother's Day. Delcia has been such a joy and we continue to learn and experiment as parents. Our favorite time is all laying in bed together in the mornings. We bring Delcia into our bed at around 6am. She loves touching John's face, talking and smiling at us, then she and I fall back asleep for a few more hours. These mornings make a long night well worth it. I now realize what an amazing thing being a mom is and how much love we are capable of. I have been so lucky to have a mother that has demonstrated this unconditional, motherly love my whole life. I am also lucky to have a mother-in-law that has raised my amazing husband, but also loves and cares for me and her grandaughter as well. Happy Mother's Day to all of those moms I know and admire!
Bridger's test results came back. We have decided not to amputate his leg, but are starting chemo this week. So far he is doing great, but growing ever fearful of his bi-weekly vet visits. He shakes uncontrollably when we get there and has to sit on my lap in the waiting room. All the receptionists there know us well and love to play with Delcia while we wait for Bridger's bandage change. Hopefully the chemo treatments will go well and we will have a happy, healthy dog for a little while longer!
Bridger loves belly rubs, even from a four month old!

Give Bridger a hug from me! Love him.
Sweet, sweet family! A sweet little girl, a sweet mommy and daddy, a sweet doggy, and well a kitty who's sweet when she wants to be! :-) We love you all and send our prayers as you go through this rough time with Bridger! He's not just a dog, he's a part of your family and I can only imagine how tough this is.
Love and Hugs,
(aunt)Sarah and (uncle)John
